Yesterday Al Tipon from Facilities Management and Chief Ray made a presentation on how the initial excavation will develop this summer. They also said that shortly after May 7th ("the Little Dig") and before the official groundbreaking this fall (the "Big Dig") they will install webcams monitoring the progress of the building of the Hannon.
I have a newer image of the bluff which I'll post shortly. In the meantime here's what one could see from the bluff to the wetlands below circa 1930. In view is probably one of the Machada family farmhouses.
